About
I believe that life is more interesting when we don't know what our days will look like. Not knowing what our days will look like, in an exciting manner at least, comes as a result of spontaneity. However, we can't necessarily just choose to make our lives spontaneous. When opportunities for unplanned encounters, among other potential spontaneous things that might arise throughout our day are sparse, we must look to the infrastructure through which our lives happen.
One of, if not the main reason I believe people love college is because there are so many opportunities to run into people, learn about and get involved with events, and feel a sense of community. The barrier to entry is very low when you're on foot within a close proximity to others. By taking inspiration from university design, as well as other ways cities have been planned historically, I believe we can fundamentally rethink the way everyday life happens, post graduation, be it college, high school, etc.
I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2021 with my Bachelors in Finance and am now pursuing my Masters in Urban Planning.
